Background
Recht Kornfeld, a well known Denver law firm, needed an updated website to establish their new positioning and incorporate the visual and verbal tone of their new branding. Their goals for the website were to stand out from their competition, increase awareness of their scope of services, and reinforce their reputation as tier-1 legal professionals.

We started by interviewing key stakeholders to define goals, clarify the target audience, define KPIs, and find out about their local competitors.
Then, we took an inventory of law firm websites in the Denver area and across the US. Many of them made similar mistakes—too many pages, news mentions that got very few views, and cliche imagery (gavels, scales, etc).
The conclusion: to stand out, Recht Kornfeld needed a clean, impactful, streamlined website.

A bold headline and unconventional and headline proudly proclaims that Recht Kornfeld isn’t just another member of the herd, but leaves further interpretation up to their audience.
A simplified and easily navigable information architecture creates a more intuitive user experience, and quickly communicates only the essential pillars of the site (and the firm).

The unified verbal tone and simplified language maximizes clarity and readability.
